Soaring With Hope

This program is designed for cancer patients and their families, clinicians and other caregivers. The title of this inspiring program was created by Connecticut's Middlesex Hospital Outpatient Center where Hope Douglas was a breast cancer patient. Hope is the founder of Wind Over Wings, a nonprofit raptor rehabilitation and education center. The birds in this program are unable to be released back to the wild due to injury. They include a Bald and Golden Eagle. Their stories are heart-warming and passionate. As Henry David Thoreau said, "In their daily life, all are braver than they know."
